With over 25 years of experience in the retail supermarket industry, the Ahmedi Group has grown from humble beginnings to a trusted name in the community.

Our journey began with Shakeel Ahmedi, who first ventured into retail with IGA Kandos. His dedication, passion, and commitment to excellence helped establish him as a respected and experienced retailer.

As a family-owned business, family values and community focus have always been at our core—and they always will be. As the business evolved, Shakeel’s sons joined the family business, bringing fresh energy and innovative ideas.

Over the years, Ahmedi's IGA expanded its footprint with the addition of IGA Gulgong, which underwent extensive refurbishment to provide the Gulgong community with a fresh and inviting shopping experience.

IGA Molong was added to the group and completely rebuilt after the 2022 floods, offering the Molong community a vibrant and welcoming store.
